This is so much more than a wine competition.
S.T.E.A.M. at Deanna Smith Ranch is an innovative program that equips our youth with life skills, academic enrichment, and entrepreneurial thinking.
This wine competition adds an agricultural element of awareness and celebration to all the amazing wineries and talents of our local vintners.
This Ag collaboration is a great fit to raise funds to support our program. Growing our youth with S.T.E.A.M. isn't possible without your support and we thank you for your donations, collaboration and attendance to the gala.
Innovative Thinking
Students will learn some fundamentals of life...how their natural foods are grown, the basic skills in the industrial arts and business as they harvest, cook, build, and go to market with their bounty. This outside the box program includes microeconomics as they generate income. Local financial advisors and bankers will work with students to save and grow their profits. This invaluable part of life enrichment offered by Grape Day S.T.E.A.M. Foundation isn't usually found in the early public education system and we believe it is a critical part of our program that brings the students full circle in their growth.
